Milimani is the reference upmarket area — newer apartment blocks, gated compounds, generators as standard. Riat Hills offers newer family-sized houses. For a budget-friendly option, Mamboleo and Nyamasaria hold modest apartments at meaningfully lower rents. Lakeshore pockets around Impala Park and Dunga offer the most characterful stock but come with mosquito and humidity trade-offs; confirm screens, nets and treatment during your viewing. Fibre internet reaches the main residential roads but drops off quickly in informal areas.
