About Kisii
Kisii Town is the commercial and administrative anchor for south-western Kenya, and its rental market is driven by civil servants, professionals at regional offices (KRA, TSC, Ministry of Health) and Kisii University staff and students. Most newer apartment stock sits along the Daraja Mbili–Nyanchwa corridor, where mid-market two- and three-bedroom units are available at a meaningful discount to equivalent space in Nairobi. Rains are more frequent here than in central Nairobi, so ask about drainage and road access in the outer estates. Kisii sits at altitude and the climate is cool year-round — pleasant for living but an important consideration for how buildings are insulated.
